Bobbett, Larry
Honours Phys Ed, B. Ed., Masters Ed.. 30 years of
teaching. Coached high school running and swim teams. Member and
Captain of Toronto Striders track club 1963 to 1972. Coach of Ont.
Paralympics Team 1968-1972. Ont. achievement award 1972 for
contribution to Wheelchair Sports. Taught 'Learn to Swim' program
in 1967 and 1968. Competed at 2 Olympic trials in track (1968, 1972).
Ranked 10th in Canada 800 indoors. 2008 World S.C. Triathlon Champs
Qualifier. Masters swimmer since 1983, Master Ducks coach since 2005.

Bonham, Karen, 9 year member and coach of Master Ducks,
Ducks Swimming & Ducks Triathlon teams. National Duathlon Olympic
& Long Distance Team member 1998-2006. Subaru Triathlon Series
award winner since 1997. 5 time Ironman finisher. Kona – Ironman
World championships 2008 qualifier. 11th at 2006 Worlds 70.3
Championships, 2007 Worlds qualifier. Recipient of Betty Black
Award 2005 presented by OAT. Executive Member of the OAT
Board of Directors. NCCP level 3 coach. Karen oversees all
Triathlon programs. |

backstroke and relay teams. Ranked in the top 8 in Canada and
top 100 in the world. Ontario University Medallist and Canadian

Trainer, Emergency First Response w/AED Instructor.

MASTERS COACH
Porteous, Adam, Adam was the
former Head Coach of the
Stouffville Swim Club. In 1995 he placed 5th at the Canadian
Swimming Championships, competed at the 1994 Commonwealth
Trials- placing 2nd as a member of Markham's Freestyle Relay,
and in 1991 he was a member of Swim Ontario's Men's Team
of the Year. Adam oversees all aspects of Ducks swimming,
Aurora Swim Club and Stouffville Swim Club. He also coaches
Aurora's National Team and assists with the Stroke Development Groups.

SPECIAL DUCKS HEAD COACH
Richardson, Hillary,
Background in holistic health and nutrition. Coached at Technosport
and worked as a fitness consultant in the Ottawa area. Has coached and taught swimming for more than 20 years,
specializes in stroke improvement. Certified NCCP Level 1 Coach.
Former Director of Masters Swimming Ontario.

HEAD STROKE DEVELOPMENT COACH
Rottman, Nick,
Professional swim coach since 1972. Swam at the National
level (1969-1974) and attended 1972 Olympic Trials.
5th 200m breast @ 1971 Nationals. Masters swimmer since 1975,
attending both Masters Nationals and World Masters. Coached the Barrie
Trojan S.C to a Nationally ranked team (1986-1998) with many swimmers
achieving finals at Nationals. Inducted into the 2008 U.ofT.
Swimming Hall of Fame. Coached 2008 Paralympics swimmer Devin Gotell
for the 2008 Beijing Games. Level 3 NCCP coach and involved in
Level IV. Level I & II NCCP Course Conductor.

Member of the Ducks since 2001. Six time Masters
National Championship competitor. Competed in the .
2006 World Masters Championships at Standford University.
Was a member of the Canadian record relay team in 2007.
Has 10 top 20 Ontario rankings, and 1 top 20 Canadian ranking.
NCCP Level 1 Skills Coach, Red Cross, NLS certified.
Coaches Fitness, Competitive and Triathlon programs.

Sodonis, Frank, Member of the Master Ducks
since 1999. Past President York Swim Club (Age Group). Past
Committee Member for Msters Swimming Canada. Ranked top 10
for all individual events swum in 2006. Member of a total
of 7 Canadian Record breaking Duck Relays. Red Cross and NLS
certified. NCCP Special Olympics Level 1, NCCP Skills Coach.

Talbot, Jim, Member of the Ducks since 2001 & competitor in
every Canadian National Championship swim meets since.
Ranked in top 10 for all individual events as at 2005 Masters
Championships. Member of 3 Canadian Record Relay
Teams. Competed in the 2006 World Masters Swimming
Championships in San Francisco finishing with a 17th place finish.
