The
Aurora Special Ducks Swim Club is in its third
season (2008/2009).
The club was set up to
support grassroots swimming development in the
Town of Aurora and offers a fully coached swimming
program to athletes of all ability levels. Volunteers
who are members and swimmers with the Aurora
Master Ducks Swim Club and the Aurora Ducks
lead each practice. The goal of the Special
Ducks Swim Club is to offer stroke improvment,
instruction and fitness training to our athletes
in a fun atmosphere, with mostly one-on-one
coaching. If desired, we will have the athletes
compete at local and regional swim meets and
conclude the season with an in-house swim meet
at the Aurora Recreation Complex (May 2009).
