MASTERS SWIM PROGRAMS |

Stroke Development
Designed for swimmers
in need of proper stroke development. Throughout
the year stroke drills for each of the strokes
& turns will be taught. Individual attention
will be given to problem strokes. This program
will help prepare swimmers for our Fitness group.
Each workout is 1.25
hours long.
Evening: Monday + Wednesday 7:30-8:45pm

Fitness & Competitive
Fitness: Designed for swimmers
who want to work on their fitness through swimming
and develop strong competitive stroke techniques.
Proper stroke mechanics are taught & blended
with a training program to fit their level of
conditioning. Swimmers may compete at the various
levels of competition.
Competitive: Designed for swimmers
planning to compete at local, provincial, national
& international meets. Practices are structured
to offer intensive training with the primary
focus on Canadian Championships. Other meets
are scheduled to fit the needs of the group.
In addition to pool time, this group will take
part in stretching prior to each practice and
specialized dryland training once/week.
Your choice of practices/week...
Each practice is 1.5
hours long (Sundays are 2 hours).
Early morning: Tuesday + Wednesday + Friday 6-7:30am
Mid morning: Monday through Friday 10-11:30am
Evening: Monday + Wednesday 7:30-9pm
Weekend: Sunday 8-10am
Competitive Technical (ARC)
Sunday 9:30-10am FREE to all members (learn how to do proper turns, stroke drills, flip turns and more)

Triathlon
Swim times for Triathlon (each workout is 1.5 hours long)
Early morning: Monday + Wednesday + Thursday 6-7:30am
Mid morning: Monday through Friday 10-11:30am
Evening: Tuesday + Thursday 8:15-9:45pm
Weekend: Sunday 8:30-10am (St. Andrews College)

Dryland Training
Designed to complement
all swim programs. This fully coached 1/2-hour
session focuses on developing core strength and flexibility.
Dryland training takes
place on Sunday mornings from 10:00 - 10:30 am
at the ARC.
SMALL FEE for all members (decreasing/sliding scale based on number of workouts booked)
